“I joined the Star Aviation family in October as a Fleet Team Leader. In the brief time I have been here, I have seen what an amazing company Star is and what potential it has to grow. The staff are amazing to work with and I was accepted with open arms into the team that I now call my family. The support provided by Peter and Renee has been remarkable, I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am in such a short time if it wasn’t for their guidance and support. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey with this great organisation.”

“I started work for Star back in March 2019. During my short time with Star I have been able to grow. Not only as a person, but in my career. I have recently been promoted as a 2IC at Moranbah which has enabled me to lead the team, whether it is on ramp or check in. I am fortunate enough to be able to represent the team in monthly toolboxes with QantasLink. I wouldn’t be the mature leader I am today if it wasn’t for Stars constant support and encouragement.”
” In the past 13 months with Star I have been given the opportunity to grow with the company professionally and watch the company go from strength to strength gaining new contracts. I started with the company as a Passenger Services Officer and have been promoted to a Passenger Services Manager through to 2IC Duty Manager. I look forward to being a part of this growing and successful company!”
” Being in a growing and expanding company like Star has allowed me to use this as a solid platform to grow my skills. I’m constantly learning and striving to better myself within the company and I’m very excited to see what the future will hold for Star Aviation. Being the youngest 2IC Duty Manager at Sydney Airport for Star is a huge achievement which I am proud of. The ongoing support throughout the team makes my role that much more enjoyable. ”
“Since joining Star Aviation in March last year (2019), my professional skill set has improved considerably. The support provided by Star has been outstanding and has allowed me to gain valuable knowledge in such an important industry. Star has a great culture which allows all employees equal opportunity to improve and grow, one reason I’m proud to be part of such a great company!”

Star’s most proud achievement is our commitment to closing the gender balance gap.
“In 2012 when I first started the business, I was told that the industry was primarily male dominated. My mission within the first 3 years was to at least have 25% of our workforce female. I have watched with excitement that our percentage increased to being almost equal. A wonderful achievement.” Peter Georgiou: General Manager
