Recognising Our People

Our people are the reason for our success. That is why we take the time to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that our employees demonstrate every day. We achieve this through our programs SuperSTAR and Service Pin Recognition.

Service Pin Recognition Program: To honour our hardworking and loyal employees, who have been with us through every achievement and helped create the Star difference over the years, Star Aviation introduced our Service Pin Recognition Program. Employees are presented service pins for 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 10 years of service, recognising their meaningful contributions and ongoing commitment to the success of Star Aviation.

SuperSTAR Program: Through this initiative, employees can nominate their colleagues who go above and beyond in their roles, demonstrating Star’s core values. SuperSTAR recipients are recognised company-wide and rewarded for their outstanding contributions, reinforcing our culture of appreciation and recognition.

But it’s not just our team that can take part—our SuperSTAR Program welcomes nominations from suppliers, customers, and passengers who recognise a Star employee for exceptional service. Each month, a SuperSTAR of the Month is selected by Star’s Judging Panel, and the winner is awarded a trophy and a $250 gift card, and has the chance to be SuperSTAR of the Year. Two runner-ups each month also receive $100 gift card for their outstanding contributions.

At the end of the year, all 11 SuperSTAR winners are entered into the running for the prestigious SuperSTAR of the Year title, with the grand prize being a 7 day all-expenses-paid international holiday for two!
